WHERE DOES FREEMASORY OR MASONRY COME FROM?

Freemasonry or Masonry consists of fraternal organizations that trace their origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons that from the end of the fourteenth century regulated the qualifications of stonemasons and their interaction with authorities and clients. The degrees of Freemasonry retain the three grades of medieval craft guilds, those of Apprentice, Journeyman or fellow (now called Fellowcraft), and Master Mason. The candidate of these three degrees is progressively taught

Freemasonry has existed throughout the world for centuries and is the oldest Fraternal Order in the world.  It is a Brotherhood of like-minded men of good moral character who desire to better themselves and their community. Volumes have been written about it. Yet, Freemasonry remains a mystery.

Freemasons are seekers of knowledge and value education. Our efforts are applied toward making good men better through personal development. While there is a social aspect of the Fraternity, our true goal is to help each man grow as a person and to contribute to his community.

Nevada Masons have their roots in the founding of America. Since 1865, the fraternity has bound together men from all walks of life.

Our future is even more exciting! Freemasonry provides education, mentoring, and guidance to the next generation of leaders and innovators.
